Geed!
Greetings, my family and friends; this is Steven Walker with HINU Fellowship. I wanted to send you a quick email this morning inviting you to a few things we have today.
First, Colin Marshall and I often hang out at Curtis Hall for lunch every Tuesday, from noon until about 2PM. You’ll spot us near the Coca-Cola machine. No need to hesitate if we’re mid-chat; we’re all about meeting new people. Whether you’re up for a chat, have any questions, or just want to drop by to say ‘Hi,’ we’re open to it. We genuinely enjoy spending time on campus and would be thrilled to have you join us. So, feel free to swing by!
Also, I’m excited to let you know and invite you all to our Talking Circle tonight at 8PM — and yes, it involves food! Not only are we have a talking circle, but we are hosting a pizza feed with our pie from Pizza Shuttle, followed by what we like to call a ‘Talking Circle.’ Wondering what that is? It’s simply a relaxed space where everyone can share thoughts, experiences, joys, or challenges, all within a supportive and friendly atmosphere. A big shoutout to the folks at the Indian Avenue Baptist Church (146 E Indian Ave, Lawrence, KS 66046) for giving us the space to come together. It’s all about good food and even better company, and we’d love to have you there!
Lastly, as I’m gearing up for the upcoming powwow season, I stumbled upon this jammer of a track on YouTube from last year’s HINU Grad powwow; I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
